First picture of 2013! My wonderful love bought me the spirited away art book and it made me want to revisit the movie as well. I really love this scene (I think it's the most commonly drawn scene too, but I had to try my hand at it as well) it's got the innocent affection of childhood and it gets me right in the feels.

My first citique, do my best . starting from the humility that I consider myself an artist with qualities lower than yours and my low level of English. But focusing observer of your work, this is my critique:
Nice drawing! I see tht the girl he likes to hug the dragon, you caught the moment.
But what is more difficult, it also shows that the dragon likes to hug the girl. Putting this expression in the face of an animal has its merit. There are shaded, the proportions in general very good. I like the girl's hands and shoulders raised, right in that position. The use of few colors, I think it gives the drawing elegance, I always thought that less at the end is more.
As this is a criticism, and I think it should be a balance between good and bad. Just one thing confuses me. I see the picture and I think the light comes from the upper right corner, every shadow correspond with that, except the left sleeve of the girl, there should be no shadow, I think with some doubts. But as it is a long sleeve, my assessment can be discussed and refuted logically.

But overall I personally think a nice drawing
